Hello and welcome to Exploring Outside the 303!

We are Steve and Kaylee and we have two awesome kids and a 60 lb dog we travel with. We sold our house, most of our belongings, and decide to turn our traditional life upside down for the next year while we hit the road in our travel trailer to discover what this beautiful country has to offer our family!

You may be thinking, how on earth does someone even come up with the idea to become full-timer RVer's. A few years back, Steve nonchalantly mentioned the idea to me one night, and I immediately shut down that done. My thought was people don’t sell everything they have worked so hard for and move their families into a tiny metal box with wheels, I mean that’s OK for weekend camping but not to live like that.

In the spring of 2018, after deep thought and much consideration, I finally agreed to the idea that we could successfully travel full time, homeschool, and work remotely. Steve was all about it (of course).

After 6 months of research, we found the perfect rig for our needs and we picked up “Lina” in December of 2018. We bought a 2019 Coachmen Catalina 323BHDSCK Legacy Edition. We also upgraded our truck to a 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn and call her "Tina". We listed our house for sale in May 2019 and closed 25 days later in June. We officially hit the road in August 2019 and have logged so many adventures already.
